Corinthians 1: 7 Love Bears All Things Believes All Things Hopes All Things Endures All Things
Love may seem like an impossibility after your heart has been broken. You wonder if your heart is too damaged for you to ever love anyone again. You wonder if anyone could ever love you. You wonder if you can ever bring yourself to let down your walls enough to love someone again. You think that if you keep your walls up, you will not be hurt again. No matter what you fear, however, love will find a way. Love endures no matter what this world throws at it. Your heart will begin to yearn for love again, no matter how impossible that may seem now.

How Our Hearts Are Mended And We Are Saved
We are saved through his atonement but that is not automatically transferred to you or I. In order to receive the atonement you must commit to converting to a Christ-like life. We can see here once again the reference to the broken-hearted being blessed, as they will do the work to find the relief and consequently they find God and real inner peace.
Living a Christ-like life entails following his teachings, reading scriptures, praying and most importantly entering the waters of baptism and receiving the Holy Ghost.
Following his teachings is another way to live a Christ-like life. This can be achieved by seeing the unrighteous desires in our hearts and behaviors we execute and commit to making a change. Other ways could be committing to obedience, repentance and service.
Jesus promises us that we will not be the same after inviting him into your life for he says
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26
Ways God Heals A Broken Heart

The most popular video on my YouTube channel is called Gods Promise for a Broken Heart. I created that video as part of a Bible study series through the book of Psalms, not knowing that it would resonate with so many people. No matter how different we are, chances are if you have a heart, at one point in your life, it has or will be broken. Maybe someone you loved betrayed you. Maybe you were rejected. Maybe you lost love in one way or another.
Either way, when your heart is broken, it often feels like it can never be repaired. The pain, hurt and anguish may be so deep youre tempted to think youll never be happy again and you will be forced to make it through the rest of your life with this heavy burden of carrying your heart around in a million pieces.
I can tell you that although things may not be the same, we do serve a God who is a healer and is in the business of restoring that which is broken and making it into something beautiful.
So in todays video, Im sharing 7 ways God heals a broken heart that you may find wholeness and joy once again.
7 WAYS GOD HEALS A BROKEN HEART
The first way God heals a broken heart is with truthful vulnerability. When I say the truth, I mean our ability to admit to God that we are hurting and broken in the first place. In 1 Peter 5:6-7, we are encouraged to cast our cares on God. The verses read:
The sixth way God heals a broken heart is with His presence.
Psalm 34:18 tells us:

Confess Your Sins And Let Go
Have you taken a step back and honestly examined what happened with the relationship? Try to remove yourself from prejudice and grudges and see if you can identify the role you may have had in the demise of the relationship. If you allow yourself to find the sins and problems, you will be able to grow and learn from them. Ask God for His forgiveness and He will in turn help you learn to forgive. Do not dwell for long on what you did wrong or what the other person did wrong. Simply ask for forgiveness of your actions and let go of any resentment and bitterness you are holding onto. Give the anxiety up to the Lord.

Offering a prayer for a broken heart can be a brilliant way to remind someone of how loved they are. This prayer to heal a broken heart can be adapted with your loved ones name. Pray it over them and, if appropriate, share the words with them too.
Dear Lord, you came to set us free. To show us that not even death can defeat us. This pain my loved one is going through is as temporary as a season, and part of your amazing tapestry of life. Can you reach mightily into my loved ones plight and offer relief? Can you visit them with renewed strength, soft wisdom, a stirring of hope?
I know you dont want my loved one to suffer. You are not a God who punishes or orchestrates hurt. You are more than able to deliver. Can you please release my loved one from the darkness of their broken heart? I can see and feel their hurt, and I feel helpless.
I ask for your intervention. Although I know you will amaze in time, they are so very low in spirit. Please, God, raise them up. Be real to them. Send them a ray of sunshine. Please heal their broken heart. In Jesus name, amen. Crosswalk.com

Psalm : 3 He Heals The Brokenhearted And Binds Up Their Wounds
Heartbreak can feel like a physical wound. In fact, it can have many of the same dangers and complications that an actual, physical injury would bring. Emotions effect your body, and the maelstrom of pain and stress that follows heartbreak can do very real damage to your body. Just like a physical wound, emotional healing is not always easy. It is painful and can be messy, but it must be done. Unlike physical injuries, however, emotional wounds will not close on their own. You must put forth the work to reach for emotional healing and allow God to help you mend your broken heart.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away. Revelation 21:4
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea. Psalm 46:1-2

When someone is grieving the loss of a loved one or deeply wounded emotionally for another reason, the concept of moving past this painful season can feel like a faraway dream.
Perhaps thats why the hope and promise contained in Psalm 147:3 is a balm for so many.
Psalm 147 in general is an expression of praise, emphasizing how even though Gods people experienced trauma and anguish over exile and other loss, they had gathered once again in Jerusalem and could trust that now God would bring about their restoration and ultimate healing.
He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3 reassures us, going on to list many ways God would bring about renewal and wholeness both within them and in the land itself.
But does this apply to us today? How does God heal the brokenhearted as promised in Psalm 147:3?
